In this article, we will be discussing ‘Cyberprank 2069’ and explaining why it was removed from the Steam store. If you haven’t checked out our latest blogs I suggest you go do that now!
Cyberprank 2069

Originally called Cyperpunk 2069 was a legit game to buy from Stream. It was removed from Steam a couple of days ago due to violating the Steam policies.
Its original store description summed it up like so: “This is a new generation RPG game. True simulation of life in the world of the future. In 2069, people will be enslaved by a race of intelligent computers. Now it is cyberghetto. The main character is a cop from the past. His task is to become the most wealthy resident of the city of the future.”
The issue that got the game removed was changing the description a few times and leaving it like this…

The description as shown says “Thanks to everyone who bought this joke game before 07/22/2019. Each of you will receive your copy of Cyberpunk 2077 as a Christmas present. The funniest review will win collector’s edition.”
In making competition by asking fans to leave reviews to win a copy of Cyberpunk 2077’s collectors edition is breaking Steam’s policies. That’s without even taking into consideration of them promising a free copy of Cyberpunk 2077 at Christmas. It seems a bit fishy for a game that cost $US10.
